New Delhi: Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of Arvind Melagani as Vice President – General Counsel, Greater India Territory.
In his new role, Arvind Melagani will lead the legal and company secretarial teams across the region, supporting Schneider Electric’s India Management Team and strengthening the company’s governance and compliance framework.
The appointment of Arvind Melagani reinforces Schneider Electric’s commitment to strong governance, legal integrity, and strategic compliance within one of its fastest-growing markets.
Based at Schneider Electric’s Avinya Campus in Bengaluru, Melagani will contribute to the company’s mission of driving sustainable growth and digital transformation across India.

Arvind Melagani Brings Over Two Decades of Legal and Regulatory Expertise
With more than 23 years of experience in legal, regulatory, and governance functions, Arvind Melagani joins Schneider Electric from Bosch Group, where he served as Vice President and General Counsel overseeing legal and company secretarial operations across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Previously, Melagani worked with Jurisperitus Law Firm, focusing on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and corporate advisory services. He also practiced civil and commercial litigation before the Supreme Court of India.

A Member of the Bar Council of India, Arvind Melagani is also a Qualified Independent Director from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs and a Certified Coach from the Coaching Federation of India. He holds an MBA in Applied Finance from NMIMS, Mumbai.
